Speaking on behalf of the ZRCS Secretary General/CEO during the handover, Mr. Wina Wina said the support aims to ease the burden on the settlement and meet the growing humanitarian needs of refugees arriving from the different countries. He noted that the increasing influx of refugees has heightened demand for shelter, water, sanitation, and hygiene services.

The donation was officially received on behalf of the ministry of Foreign Affairs and Internation Cooperation, by Commissioner for Refugees Mr. Kaneneka, who commended the ZRCS for its timely and continued support to humanitarian efforts in refugee communities.
