Vision Zero is a transformational approach to prevention that integrates three dimensions of safety, health and well being at all levels of work.
The occasion which took place at CIELA resort in Chongwe, was graced by the guest of Honour, Minister of Labour and Social Security Ms. Mwika Tambatamba MP, accompanied by Minister of Transport & Logistics Mr. Frank Tayali MP, and representing Lusaka Minister was the P.S Lusaka Province, Mr Mike Mapushi.
The launch saw ZRCS displaying First Aid in line with Workers Compensation Fund Control Board, theme for 2025, which is " Towards Zero Harm in Transport " amongst other organisations who also exhibited.
In her remarks, the guest of Honour emphasised that "Vision Zero is more than just a campaign, it is a principle and is a call for action."
She thanked all the stakeholders and ILO for supporting Vision Zero, which is not just local, but is, Vision Zero Africa & Vision Zero Global.
