ZRCS RECEIVES OVER ONE MILLION KWACHA TO BOOST RAINWATER HARVESTING IN SINAZONGWE

Zambia Red Cross Society (ZRCS) has received ZMW 1,242,050 from the FNB Zambia Foundation to implement the Development of Rainwater Initiatives for People’s Sustainability project in Sinazongwe. The project was launched by our Training Board chairperson, Mr Imbwela Imbwela, together with the FNB Zambia Foundation Board chairperson, Ms Linire Mulima.

This partnership will support more than 1,000 farmers with practical rainwater harvesting systems that help them manage erratic rainfall and strengthen their resilience to drought. The collaboration reflects strong confidence in our capacity to deliver community-focused climate solutions and advance long term resilience work across Zambia.

We value this support, which aligns with our mandate to protect lives, enhance livelihoods and promote sustainable development in vulnerable communities.
