Many participants were already familiar with the subjects, and the training provided an important opportunity to refresh and strengthen their practical skills. Staff expressed enthusiasm about improving their confidence and readiness to respond in the field. “First aid plays an important role in emergency situations,” said one participant. “It helps us respond quickly and effectively, and ultimately save lives.”
For ZRCS, first aid training remains a core part of its humanitarian work. It enables teams to respond during disasters, support vulnerable communities, and promote health and dignity. Whether during floods, droughts, or medical emergencies, trained first aiders are often the first line of support.

Beyond technical knowledge, the workshop also encouraged teamwork and peer learning. “We learned so much and it was great to see everyone working together,” shared another participant.
As ZRCS continues its mission, the strengthened first aid capacity among staff will contribute to lasting impact across the communities we serve.
